Quiet Days
It's quiet around here lately, I guess everyone is busy with holiday knitting? I've been busy knitting hats and headbands for the Soaring Eagles Project, but I am handing them all over tomorrow night. Then I am back on the Fair Isle Cardigan full force! I started the armhole steeks, and if I remember correctly am about 4 inches into them. It's seems like about a month since I've touched it. I have thought about knitting a couple of rows, or a pattern band, but was afraid I wouldn't put it down to go back to the hats, and they are for a really good cause.
I also have Off-Center Argyle from Wrap Style waiting in the wings that is really calling my name too. Instead of the olive and rusty colors called for in the pattern, I ordered a deep brown, an eggplant, and two shades of turquoise from Elann. I'll have pictures on my blog when I start it. I may use it as incentive to finish a sleeve, perhaps.
How is everyone else coming along on your fair isle knitting?
