Felted Tote for Back-Tack II
This was my first felting project. The tote pattern was made up by me and was quite a learning experience overall regarding the nature of felting (or fulling) and how the knitted wool behaves throughout the process depending on the original shape.
Yarn: Lion Wool (1 skein pink, 1 skein cream, 2 skeins sage) and Brown Sheep Naturespun (1/2 skein brown, two strands held together) for the base
Needles: two US 10 1/2 circular needles
The flower pattern was needle felted with wool scraps.
