Computer problems are so irritating. I just finished writing a post telling that I'm going to Wichita for my husband's birthday this weekend and returning next Thursday. Including a 6 point "to-do" list and two photos. Then my internet connection was interrupted and I lost the entire post. The photos are below (sock progress and yarn muffin) I don't feel like re-creating the post now. I'm too irritated and tired and need to finish packing for the trip.
Shining Star progress: was a nightmare at first to begin with ten stitches on five needles (plus one needle to work) but I got it started and love it. This yarn is unbelievably soft and squishy. I want to make something for myself with it!!
My daughter Katie has been looking through my pattern books to see what she would like me to make for her. She's looking at a basic pullover sweater in a chunky yarn so it should be very quickly (yay!). Nothing like fast FOs. heh
I followed a link on Sharon's blog that led me to the Red Scarf Project. There is now a link on my side-bar that will take you there where you can see Margene's contribution. I have emailed with Lisa to find out about doing some charity auctions on eBay with baby blankets and hope that the adoption program that she works with will be signing up with MissionFish so that I can put those chenille blankets to work for their intended purpose!! Picture to come of blanket stash! :)
Happy blogging, stay warm and dry.
