*** DOGS STEAL YARN *** Colorway Update: This is currently sold out but I have yarn on order to dye and am taking preorders if you want to reserve a skein (or five!) for yourself. To preorder please email me at sugarbunnyblvdATaol.com (replace "AT" with the obvious). These will be ready in 7-10 days from now. :)
Yesterday I managed to finish the back of the "sweet striped cardigan" and started a sleeve. It goes fast but I was sleepy and it was hard to concentrate. The yarn for my SockapalOOOza pal is dry and I think I'm pleased with it - it's so hard to choose isn't it?? I haven't decided if I'll make more of this colorway for the shop or just keep it as a one-of-a-kind. This is called SPICE.
Now to make a final decision on a pattern! This is harder than making socks for a usual gift since I don't really know the person I'm giving to. Thank goodness she has a blog and I can at least get to know her a little bit that way. I'm sure whatever I make she'll love, but anyone who has done SockPal exchanges or ANY kind of exchange knows what I mean.
Now for my April Project Spectrum photo collage in Yellow. Last month I didn't get around to pink and I wasn't looking forward to yellow and orange. Now I'm pleasantly surprised with the yellows and oranges I've found around. These items were all just in the house - didn't even have to go outside and take pictures of flowers in the yard like I thought I might have to! :)
Awww...the last picture was definitely my favorite.

Okay - that yarn is just too much. STOP torturing me with those colors....I can't stand it.......

Yellow is such a pretty color on babies. She looks like a very sweet angel...good enough to eat like butter cream mints.

Yellow is my mother's favorite color, so most of my baby stuff was yellow. Almost all the pictures of me as a baby are in yellow dresses.
I'd say make the beautiful Spice colorway available to us all, but I keep thinking about how cool it would be if I were your sockpal and I knew that my socks were really, REALLY one-of-a-kind...I'm torn.

If there were a prize for the best April Project Spectrum picture, she would certainly get it.

The Spice colorway is great! I think it would be a good seller in your shop. I'm getting close to trying out the Mocassin colorway I bought. May have to make a few preemie items first though.
