Isn't it amazing how yarn creates excitement within you? Yarn you like? When you like the colors, the texture, the way it looks knit up.... even the smell. It's an awesome feeling. Well, and the sad fact is, most yarn does that to me. heh Or maybe that's a happy fact? It's a fact that makes me want to start new projects - that's for sure! Extreme Startitis. I've heard of it - but I've never actually caught it until now. Maybe it's an effect of having too much yarn around? Oh I hope not!
I really have to buckle down and finish that baby sweater! The shower is on Thursday!
In the mean time I have done some updates to the SugarBunnyBlvd etsy shop. Fall yarn has been reduced, shipping rates have been updated on everything - and I've added
a new yarn SOLD and one more scarf.
The yarn is a one-of-a-kind 100g skein of fingering weight 2-ply wool that was recycled from a gray sweater. It was hard to stop knitting when I was working on the swatch this morning because it was so fascinating to see how the colors came out in the knitting - watching what would be next to what - what would give me a little streak, etc. Fun yarn to knit with and ohhhh..... I thought of at least five different things I would love to use it for Besides Socks! But I was also thinking "man socks!" What guy would veto this? It would make some very classy man socks! The colorway is called FOREST SHADOWS. Check out the SugarBunnyBlvd etsy shop to find out more about it! :)
Send me some good knitting vibes so I can get that baby sweater finished. We had our Thanksgiving dinner with the children last night and I was swept over by turkey induced narcolepsy. Let's hope that doesn't happen again tonight or I'll be in trouble! heh
