The new March and April class calendars have been published and we have a fun new class to help you learn stranded knitting! Those pretty Fair Isle projects look so difficult. Are you ready?
If you can Knit and Purl, the answer is Yes!! This is a great "What's next?" class to take once you know how to knit and purl.
This new slouchy tam hat pattern is called "Lille Suda" and takes one main color of worsted yarn with just a little of a second color for the contrasting pattern.
Sugar Bunny Boulevard has 121 different colors of worsted yarn to choose from (can you believe that?!) giving a ridiculous number of possible combinations. I did, in fact, consult a Combination Calculator online which shows a possible 7260 2-color combinations! If you add just one more repeat of the contrast repeat in another color it jumps to 287,980 3-color combinations! Yes, I'm very tickled by this. I need to get out more. I'll get very silly if I start figuring out what would happen if we add another repeat in yet another color. :)
So come on down, call, email, whatever it takes. Don't miss this class! Its on the calendar Thursday March 24 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm or Saturday April 23 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm! Just a little practice with stranded knitting will get you hooked for life - its so fun!
Is this pattern available for us to download ~ print?
